Company Law
Entrepreneurship worldwide is associated with the establishment and operation of commercial companies, since as a team and with the cooperation of more, better results are achieved in the development, production and promotion of products than individually. After all, with the establishment and operation of a company and depending on its type, the interested parties enjoy benefits that they would not have if they acted individually. In Greece there is a restriction as to the type of commercial companies that can be established and operate in accordance with Greek law.
In the year 2000, on the initiative of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), we undertook the compilation of 16 trilingual practical guides for the establishment and operation of domestic and foreign commercial companies, which provided answers regarding the steps to be followed for the establishment of a company. Of course, since the year 2000, many changes and modifications have been made in the context of the establishment and operation of companies in Greece, both in each existing type and with the addition of another form of commercial companies.
Despite the effort made by the state to reduce the bureaucracy regarding the establishment of companies, with the establishment of one-stop services (GEMI and notaries), however, legal advice and the assistance of a lawyer is still necessary for the establishment of companies. This is even more necessary if foreigners want to establish a company in Greece in accordance with Greek law, in order to be able to choose the form of company that will satisfy them according to their needs. We offer advice and services for the establishment of companies and indicatively of a Limited Liability Company (OE), Limited Liability Company (Ltd.), Societe Anonyme (SA), Private Capital Company (IKE) etc.
